Sgùrr a' Mhuilinn in Highland Strathconon carries snowy ridges above bare gold hills, with green fields and dark conifers beneath soft clouds in clear early spring afternoon light.
This 879 metre Corbett is the highest of the group north of Strathconon. Its northern tops stand prominently above Strath Bran and the A832. A common route combines the summit with Meallan nan Uan, crossing rough boggy moorland between the two mountains.
Sgùrr a' Mhuilinn extends in a long white ridge beside a separate rounded snowy crown. Bare gold hills descend towards green fields, with dark conifers gathered on the right. Rust coloured shrubs occupy the near valley floor beneath broad soft clouds. Snow on the high ground and fresh lower grass suggest a clear early spring afternoon across the strath.
