Beschreibung
Rob Roy Way is represented by a still loch at sunset, where a small wooded island gives the view a quiet, remote mood, the island rests within the loch’s warm reflections.
The shoreline narrows towards the distant hills, with grasses and low plants along the near edge. Warm orange light colours the water and clouds, while the island forms a dark shape near the centre. The hills rise softly behind it. The island’s tree cover forms a low silhouette against the warmer bands of sky.
This loch scene suggests the varied waterside views encountered along Rob Roy Way. Walkers who have followed the route may recall how the open water and the tree-covered island shift in colour as the light fades. The warm light makes the loch’s surface appear still, while the dark island holds the centre of the view.
