Beschreibung
Roadford Lake in Devon, England, is shown at evening, with three moored boats beside a timber landing and a wooded shoreline reflected in calm water.
Clouds gather in layered bands above the dark ridge, while peach light colours the open sky. Small red buoys punctuate the lake, and rose reflections stretch across its blue surface. The boats sit at different angles along the jetty; grasses and pink flowers frame the lower edge, bringing the foreground close against the wide water.
South West Lakes Trust describes Roadford Lake as a Devon reservoir on the edge of Dartmoor. It offers more than 700 acres of brown trout fishing, boat hire, and day or season permits. Anglers can fish from the bank or from a hired boat.
