Beschreibung
Old Man of Storr stands above a blue loch, its narrow stone pinnacle rising beyond layered cliffs as green slopes descend to a long pale fence in the foreground.
Bright clouds break across a blue sky, while a small island with a single tree sits near the middle of the water. Bands of grass and darker scrub run diagonally across the slope, with red shrubs scattered along the lower edge.
At Old Man of Storr, the long fence crosses pasture above the loch, placing the near slope beneath the pointed ridge. Open water and a small island hold the foreground while the isolated pinnacle marks the high ground. For walkers drawn to Highland views, the contrast between water and rising rock gives the destination a distinct presence.
