Beschreibung
Oireabhal in North Harris rises beyond a winding blue watercourse, with rocky banks, golden moorland and scattered white cottages beneath a clear sky and warm clouds in the Outer Hebrides.
In the mountainous interior of Harris, Oireabhal reaches 662 metres above sea level. It is the highest point on a complex ridge running north to south. The northern side includes Sron Uladal, an overhanging crag known for its steep rock architecture.
Blue water bends through the foreground between dark rocks and gold-green banks. Small white cottages lie across the open middle ground, separated by broad stretches of rough grass. Behind them, a rounded central summit rises among overlapping ridges. Warm light catches the upper slopes, while blue-grey shadows define their folds and cream clouds cross the clear summer sky.
