Beschreibung
Moel Fferna in Denbighshire lifts a smooth moorland ridge above a wide foreground of heather, with tawny grass tufts and pale paths beneath gently shaded summer clouds.
At the northern end of the Berwyn range, this Welsh upland lies near the boundary between Denbighshire and Wrexham. Its open heathland outlook contrasts with the more enclosed valleys below, with broad slopes providing a long view across the surrounding high ground.
Pink and mauve heather fills the view towards Moel Fferna, mixed with green scrub and stiff gold grasses. A pale path crosses the middle ground on the left, while another faint line climbs the distant rounded summit. Blue ridges recede behind it. Cream clouds with lavender undersides spread across the sky, suggesting mild light late in the summer season.
