Meall a' Phuill (Glen Lyon) rises in a sweeping green shoulder, giving this Highland view a quiet, open character beneath a wide blue sky.
Blue ridgelines overlap along the distant horizon, while a small loch appears between the slopes on the left. The nearer hill fills the lower half with softly banded olive and sage tones, its rounded crest cutting a clear line against the mountains. High cloud gathers above the peaks, with brighter breaks in the blue.
For anyone who knows the glen, the view brings together the broad upland and the water tucked between its folds. Meall a' Phuill (Glen Lyon) feels recognisable through that contrast of close grassy ground and far blue ranges, with the small loch anchoring the left edge.
