Longhoughton’s small stone church sits among green fields, lending the rural scene a quiet, grounded mood, with the open sky keeping the view spacious.
The simple gabled building stands on a gentle rise, with a narrow arched window in its front wall. Low trees and a few houses spread behind it, while grassy fields fill the foreground beneath a cloud-streaked sky.
The church appears as part of the village surroundings, with open ground leading towards the buildings beyond.
