Beschreibung
Lee Bay gathers pale shore cottages beneath a windswept tree, with dark tidal rocks and narrow blue channels leading out towards the North Devon headland and open sea.
A long low rock shelf runs across the foreground, interrupted by pools reflecting the sky. Beyond it, cream walls and grey roofs sit close to the water. A single tall pine leans above the green slope, while angular pale cliffs extend towards the left.
At Lee Bay in North Devon, the buildings occupy a small pocket between wooded ground and the shore. This view keeps their modest scale beside the exposed rocks and broad water. The ebbing edge of the bay, rather than a busy beach scene, gives the cove its particular quiet and recognisable shape.
