Beschreibung
Ledmore in Highland Assynt gathers pale cottages beside a winding moorland road, with dark conifers and a broad blue mountain behind bright grass under scattered white summer clouds.
Ledmore marks the meeting of the A835 and A837 in the northern Highlands. The first road reaches this junction after passing through Ullapool, while the second connects Invershin with Lochinver. This makes the small settlement a recognisable crossroads in the open hill country at the southern approach to Assynt.
A pale narrow road curves between coarse green verges towards white cottages and a larger cream house. Tall conifers shelter the buildings, with two utility poles rising in front of the trees. Beyond, low gold green hills overlap below a broad blue mountain crown. Small cream clouds cross the clear sky, suggesting bright summer weather across the sparsely settled moor.
