Beschreibung
The stone bridge at Lazonby spans the river beneath a warm evening sky, creating a reflective, settled mood with the water carrying the evening colours.
Five rounded arches cross the water, their reflections stretching towards the foreground. Trees frame the riverbanks, and a wooden fence follows the near edge above dark rocks. On the far side, low buildings sit beneath a sky of pink and gold cloud. Lazonby’s bridge anchors the scene, with the river carrying the colours of sunset beneath its arches.
Anyone who has paused by the river may recognise the view of the crossing at dusk. The reflection makes the bridge feel doubled across the calm water, while the bank remains in shadow.
