Beschreibung
Kinloch on the Isle of Skye faces blue loch water, with white lodge buildings below dark woods and a rounded rocky hill beyond copper-coloured grass in late summer.
Kinloch lies beside Loch na Dal on Skye’s southern Sleat peninsula. The shoreline is closely associated with Kinloch Lodge, whose white buildings occupy a sheltered setting between water and wooded hills. The loch opens towards the Sound of Sleat and the neighbouring mainland coast.
Blue water spans the middle of the view, edged by small rocky projections on the right. Across the shore, white buildings stand before a dark belt of conifers beneath a broad green hill with a grey craggy crown. Golden grass and copper bracken fill the near bank, lit warmly beneath slow white clouds in the late-summer sky.
