Beschreibung
White gables and a tree-lined shore frame the Kenmore Hotel beside the water, giving the village scene a calm Highland character The view holds the eye on the surrounding place.
The large white building stands along the centre of the waterfront, its steep gables and dark roof reflected in the broad expanse of water below. A low stone wall and shrubs line the near edge, while a leafy tree rises at the right.
Across the loch, blue hills stretch beneath a sky of layered cloud. The building’s many windows and chimneys give the shoreline a clear focal point. Kenmore sits at the eastern end of Loch Tay, and this view brings the hotel, village edge and water together in one composition. The distant hills remain visible above the roofs. The scene belongs to Kenmore Hotel.
