Beschreibung
Hell's Mouth opens as a long crescent of sand below green cliffs, with tide pools and scattered shore rocks along the beach beneath a broad, pale cloud bank.
The place facts identify Porth Neigwl by this name. The image shows a broad bay, its sandy curve running below a green headland and pale cliff faces. That named place and the visible sweep of the shore define the scene, while shallow water traces the beach at low tide.
The nearest sand is dotted with dark rounded rocks, and thin channels of water reflect the pale sky. A strip of white surf follows the bay’s arc from the foreground towards the far headland. Beyond it, green fields cap the cliffs, with exposed pale rock along their face. Long bands of cloud cross the blue sky above the open sea. Hell's Mouth names the bay shown here.
