Beschreibung
Seen from the water's edge, Haystacks is framed by layered slopes and muted gold light, with a band of woodland and scattered stone giving the poster a quiet foreground.
Haystacks rises above a broad lake, with a steep ridge catching warm light at the centre. Smaller fells recede behind it, while dark trees and rocks trace the near shore. Blue water reflects muted greens and golds beneath a broken bank of cloud.
The poster names Haystacks, a 597 m fell in the Lake District near Buttermere, Cumbria. Warm ochre on the ridge contrasts with cool water, while a quieter sweep of trees and fields sits below. The wide view gives the mountain room to rise above its surroundings and keeps the lake as a strong foreground element.
