This print by Pierre Gabriel Berthault, after a design by Pierre Ranson, represents the refined aesthetic of late eighteenth-century French decorative arts. The composition is divided into two vertical panels, each framed by precise, linear borders that suggest architectural panelling or boiserie.
The left panel features a cascading floral arrangement, rendered with botanical accuracy.
