At Foreland, Isle of Wight, pale cliffs catch the last light above a curving shore, giving this coastal view a quiet, sunlit stillness across the bay.
A narrow tower rises from the distant headland while bands of cliff follow the bay towards the right. The low sun sits in a field of layered peach clouds, and its reflection stretches across the water to the wet sand. Dark rock shelves break the shoreline; grasses frame the foreground.
Foreland, Isle of Wight, appears here as an open stretch of coast where the tide, cliffs and evening light shape the view. Anyone who has walked this shore may recognise the pale edge of land against the calm sea, with the grasses marking the way back from the water.
