Beschreibung
Warm light curves along Dingieshowe in Orkney, where a thin white wave crosses the sand below flat green fields and a low headland beneath purple and amber clouds.
Dingieshowe Bay lies on Orkney's Mainland near Upper Sanday. A gently shelving sandy beach and dunes face an outlook towards nearby islands. Rocky patches interrupt the shoreline, while open fields and low coastal ground extend behind the curve of the bay.
The scene catches the shore in orange evening light. A ribbon of foam follows the beach towards a dark cliff at the far end, with a few small houses along the grassy skyline. Flat purple rocks line the lower sand, beside a bank of long yellow grass. Reflections spread across the calm water beneath a sky of gold edged clouds.
