Beschreibung
Devil's Appendix lies among the dark cliffs above Llyn Idwal, with a slender fall, amber evening light and a rocky stream leading across the still mountain water below.
Large flat boulders interrupt the shallow outflow at the lower edge. Across the lake, steep grey faces form a bowl around the water, their upper ridges catching orange light. A thin pale streak descends near the centre, while scattered stones sit just above the smooth surface.
At Devil's Appendix, the waterfall belongs to the much larger Cwm Idwal setting in Gwynedd. This outlook keeps it small against the enclosing cliffs, following the wide view in the retained reference. Purple shadows settle between the rock faces, with the reflected glow of the sky spreading across the lake and between the near boulders.
