Beschreibung
Cauldcleuch Head rises beyond snow-marked slopes, with a line of dark conifers separating the bright foreground from the mountain in cool greens, blue-grey and white.
The place note locates the view towards Cauldcleuch Head from the slopes of Tudhope Hill, in The Scottish Borders. The poster shows that elevated outlook across a green valley towards a higher snow-streaked ridge. Open ground and a band of trees occupy the nearer slopes, with the named hill beyond.
Patches of white snow lie among the grass and scrub in the foreground. A dark row of conifers cuts across the valley and leads towards the broad mountain beyond, whose upper slopes carry long snow streaks. Bright white clouds rise against blue sky, and alternating greens and cool greys distinguish the near hillside from the distant ridge.
