Beschreibung
Carn Eighe appears as a distant high ridge above rolling green ground, under a wide blue sky, with the near details set against the wider view.
The foreground rises through broad grassy slopes, with darker lines of vegetation tracing the folds. Further ridges overlap towards a pale mountain profile on the horizon. White clouds gather across the upper sky and cast soft tonal changes over the land. The view is built from long horizontal layers, with no close structure competing with the hills.
The open upland view suits the scale of the Highland terrain around Carn Eighe. Walkers can read the successive rises towards the distant ridge, while the broad grass slopes show how the ground opens out beneath it.
