Beschreibung
Bootle spreads across a broad aerial view, with the River Mersey dividing dense streets from the Wirral and Aintree Racecourse beside the green edge of the city.
From high above Bootle, roads and neighbourhoods form a close pattern beneath the wide sweep of the estuary. Aintree Racecourse sits near the lower edge of the scene, while the River Mersey cuts across the middle towards the Wirral. The scale of the view places the town within a much wider coastal setting.
Green fields, pale roofs and a long strip of water span the view. Road links thread through the foreground, with the distant shore softened by cloud. From this height, the urban pattern gives way to green land at the city’s edge.
