Beschreibung
Bibury is pictured beside a quiet stream, where honey-coloured stone houses and flowering banks create a gentle Cotswold village scene, creating a calm sense of place.
The nearest house stands close to the road, with a pitched roof, chimneys and small windows picked out in warm stone. Across the water, its reflection breaks around the bank. Pink flowers fill the lower edge, and a leafy tree shades the upper corner.
The close view gives Bibury the scale of a place explored on foot, where a short turn from the lane brings buildings and water together. Visitors who know the village can follow the stream past the stone frontage and garden flowers. The stream edge, road and front garden sit close together, giving the village scene the scale of a short walk.
