Ben Ledi in Stirling rises above calm turquoise river water and green banks, with pale houses among tall trees under broad cream clouds in gentle summer afternoon sunshine.
This 879 metre Corbett rises north of Callander and is one of the district’s familiar hillwalking destinations. The usual route starts at the Pass of Leny. A long ridge links it with Benvane, allowing an extended crossing from Brig o’ Turk through the surrounding Trossachs uplands.
Ben Ledi forms a broad green mountain above a line of leafy riverbank trees. Pale houses stand among darker conifers on the right, facing calm turquoise water and low grassy margins. Broken tree reflections stretch across the broad foreground channel. White flowers and long grass edge the near bank below cream clouds, suggesting gentle summer afternoon sunshine.
