Beschreibung
A high, bare peak rises above the loch at Beinn Sgeireach (Glen Cassley), giving the Highland view a spacious, quiet mood The view holds the eye on the surrounding place.
The mountain fills the centre of the artwork, its upper slopes coloured in muted blue and violet beneath a few streaks of cloud. Lower down, bands of grass and scrub cross the hillside, leading to a dark blue loch at the foot of the range.
A rocky shoulder enters from the foreground and frames the water. The slopes are mostly open, with little tree cover to interrupt their shape. Beinn Sgeireach (Glen Cassley) sits within a broad Highland setting, and the artwork links its bare summit to the water and rough ground below. The far ridge softens in the distance.
