The colour palette is dominated by gold leaf, lapis lazuli blue, and soft pinks, applied with precision to define the garments and the tiled surfaces of the building. The figures are rendered with fine brushwork, capturing individual expressions and postures that convey the chaotic nature of the subject matter.

Sultan Muhammad was active in the royal workshops of Tabriz, and his work is noted for its imaginative approach to traditional themes.
