The travellers, dressed in traditional attire and carrying various bundles, move across the bridge, their forms rendered with economy and precision.
The background features a simplified representation of the terrain, with distant hills and water rendered in muted tones. The use of stylised clouds, a common motif in Ukiyo-e, adds a decorative quality to the upper portion of the print. The bridge itself is depicted with a strong diagonal perspective, which guides the eye across the frame.
