Beskrivning
Whitburn stretches along a low horizon beyond sunlit green fields, its warm roofs and dark woodland set beneath a wide evening sky streaked with peach and lilac cloud.
Whitburn lies in West Lothian in central Scotland. Open farmland reaches the edge of the town, where a line of trees stands between pasture and the houses. The low skyline includes long industrial roofs among the smaller residential buildings.
Evening light spreads across the green pasture, leaving long strips of shadow beneath the hedges. Red and grey rooftops form a dense band behind the trees. Slender poles rise in the middle distance. Above them, mauve cloud banks catch peach light at their edges, opening into clear blue towards the right.
