Beskrivning
West Sands stretches towards a low evening sun, while a row of brightly painted beach huts gives this Norfolk shore a cheerful, calm feeling.
The beach fills the foreground with rippled sand and long shadows. A line of raised huts follows the right-hand shore, their coloured fronts facing the water, while trees rise behind them. To the left, the sea reflects the low sun and curves towards a distant strip of land beneath large blue clouds.
West Sands is shown as a broad beach with familiar signs of a settled seaside edge. The huts stand close to the trees, leaving the open shoreline clear. For people who have spent time on this Norfolk coast, the long shadows and sunlit water may bring back the feel of an evening walk along the sand.
