Beskrivning
Upper Dean centres on a stone tower windmill, with long slender sails above green hedgerows and a narrow path crossing an open field beneath small clouds in a bright blue Bedfordshire sky.
Upper Dean is shown through the windmill and farmland that give this village view its particular character. A small red roof appears among the trees beside the tower, while distant field bands continue towards a low horizon. The close path leads directly into that settled rural landscape, joining the pale crops and dark hedges to the windmill beyond.
The tapering tower rises above a dense green hedge, its rounded dark cap outlined against the sky. Long sail spars lean across the open space around it. In the foreground, a straight earth path runs between cropped fields, with white flowers growing along the near left edge.
