Beskrivning
Tràigh Iar holds a pale gold reflection across its wet sand, with a winding trail of footprints leading towards low coastal silhouettes beneath an opening in the layered clouds.
On North Uist's northern shore near Sollas, white sand formed from broken shells lies beside a parallel strip of machair. The surrounding grassland supports summer wildflowers and coastal wildlife, with the beach opening out towards the sea.
A trail of footprints crosses Tràigh Iar from the lower sand towards the left horizon. Their raised edges catch light above pools of blue shadow. Farther right, a narrow gold reflection reaches down from the low sun through broad sheets of water. Thin white waves repeat along the shore. The distant land stays low, leaving most of the view to the peach and blue clouds overhead.
