Beskrivning
An elevated view over Tollesbury follows pale blue creeks through green saltmarsh to a boat-filled marina, with red village roofs beside the wide water of the Essex coast.
Tollesbury is a coastal village in Essex beside the Blackwater estuary. Its marina occupies the edge of a broad area of saltmarsh cut by tidal creeks. St Mary the Virgin parish church stands within the village, beyond the boats and shore.
Thin channels curl around irregular patches of marsh, widening towards the open estuary. White boats gather in neat rows inside the curved marina basin. Dark hedges divide the ochre fields on the right, where a square church tower rises above the roofs. Low land stretches across the far water beneath broad cream clouds.
