Beskrivning
Thorpe Cloud rises over a bright Derbyshire scene, its triangular green slopes carrying pale summit tracks above a stone cottage and foreground timber gate.
A broken line of white cloud spans the blue sky above the bare limestone summit. Fine tracks zigzag up the grassy face; below, tree groups interrupt long green fields and a low stone wall sweeps past white flowers at the bottom edge.
Thorpe Cloud is a steep grassy limestone hill beside Thorpe village in Derbyshire. Walking paths climb its triangular profile, while Church Farm and other stone buildings sit among pasture below. The nearby village and hill meet in a compact setting familiar from visits to this part of the county.
