Beskrivning
The Harroway appears as a quiet country road, bordered by a solitary tree and wide fields; its simple lines bring Hertfordshire’s open countryside indoors, which keeps The Harroway close to mind.
The road narrows gently as it recedes, with hedges forming two clear green borders. A single tree interrupts the field edge, and the low ridge adds a distant line beneath the airy sky.
The Harroway recalls the small roads that link villages and open fields across Hertfordshire. Its uncluttered view can bring a familiar stretch of countryside into a study or shared living space. The quiet road offers a pause from faster routes, its enclosing hedges giving the eye a sheltered passage into the broad countryside beyond. Those who travel this route will recognise the way the hedges briefly open onto broad Hertfordshire farmland.
