Beskrivning
The Cotswolds National Landscape is anchored by a stone bridge over the river, giving the view a settled village mood, with open space around the scene.
The bridge’s rounded arches stand over a calm river, with reflections darkening the water below. Beyond it, a church tower rises between trees and closely grouped houses. Green hills climb behind the village, and a few clouds drift across the pale sky above the layered rooftops.
This view of The Cotswolds National Landscape brings together village architecture and a river crossing. The bridge offers a clear point of entry into the scene, much as it would guide a visitor from the water’s edge towards the streets beyond. The church tower helps orient the cluster of houses.
