Beskrivning
The Backs, Cambridge pairs the river's still reflections with the chapel beyond, creating a quiet view of the college grounds, while the open sky keeps the view light and spacious.
Willow branches spread across the upper left, shading a low riverside path and pale railings. On the far bank, the chapel's long roofline and vertical stone details emerge beyond the trees. Reflections repeat the green canopy and warm masonry in broken bands across the water.
For someone who has walked beside the Cam, the view brings together the river path and familiar college architecture. The chapel remains visible across the water, set behind trees that give The Backs, Cambridge its sheltered feel. The chapel rises beyond the river trees, with the reflected buildings and canopy visible below it.
