Beskrivning
Swadlincote’s brick hall and clock face anchor a quiet town square, framed by neighbouring shopfronts and leafy branches The planted beds soften the edge of the broad paved space.
At the right, the hall has a central arched entrance, tall windows and a clock set into its upper façade. A row of red-brick and pale-fronted buildings extends to the left, each with large street-facing windows. Planters and shrubs edge the paved open space, while mature branches form a canopy overhead. A narrow chimney rises beyond the rooftops against the soft evening sky.
The square offers a view of Swadlincote at pedestrian height, where civic architecture and everyday shopfronts meet. The open paving leads towards the clocked building, and the planted beds mark the edges of a space used as part of the town centre.
