Beskrivning
Skinningrove Jetty and Sands pairs a low industrial jetty with a wide sweep of shining beach, set beneath green cliffs and a great bank of white cloud.
The North Yorkshire shoreline at Cattersty Sands curves past a headland above the North Sea. Looking south from the beach, the jetty sits close beneath these slopes, its dark masonry separated from the water by a rough line of stones.
At Skinningrove Jetty and Sands, diagonal foam bands spread across the shallows towards wet brown sand. Reflected blue fills the lower half of the view, interrupted by pale streaks left by retreating waves. The grassy cliff top runs behind the low wall. High overhead, cream clouds build into a tall column against the clear sky.
