Beskrivning
Sandness looks towards Gord across open pasture, where fence lines lead to scattered ridge houses beneath a wide sky over Mainland Shetland in this quiet island view.
A long fence crosses gently rising grass towards Gord, with the open ground of Sandness spread below the ridge. Small houses sit along the slope, spaced between fields and open ground. The buildings remain low against the broad Shetland sky, while the land rolls softly towards the horizon.
A green ridge fills the middle distance and a few bright roofs mark the settlement. Fine fence lines cross the foreground, drawing towards the houses without closing the view. The low buildings and gently rolling land give the settlement its rural scale within Mainland Shetland.
