Beskrivning
Plynlimon in the Cambrian Mountains sends a narrow stream through golden moorland, with small white cascades, grey rock outcrops and rounded slopes under a clear late-summer sky.
Plynlimon, also known as Pumlumon, is a central Welsh upland whose surrounding catchments contain the sources of the Severn, Wye and Rheidol. This broad mountain landscape is the focus of conservation work intended to improve habitats and manage the land more sustainably.
A small stream cuts down the centre of a shallow valley, flashing white as it falls over dark stone steps. Golden grass covers the rounded slopes on either side, broken by grey outcrops and low green shrubs. A faint path crosses the left hillside below distant moorland ridges, with cream clouds scattered through the blue late-summer sky.
