Mwdwl-eithin looks across broad upland grass towards a broken stone shelter, with distant hills beneath a sky of bright clouds with scattered stones breaking the grassy rise.
The supplied note identifies Mwdwl-eithin in Conwy and gives the name as its place reference. The view is open and elevated: rough grass, scattered stones and a low ruin occupy the foreground, while water and successive hill lines extend behind. The scene stays with these visible features and the location supplied.
A cluster of large grey stones enters at the lower left, leading towards a roofless stone structure on the rise. Its rough walls stand against a patchwork of russet, olive and gold grass. Blue water appears in openings on both sides of the distant hills. Overhead, white cloud forms cross a deep blue sky, adding a brighter counterpoint to the earthy ground.
