Beskrivning
Muirneag rises above a scattered island view, with its stone trig point set against open water and distant shores for a clear, windswept mood.
From the grassy rise, the eye passes over a rocky mound to small islands separated by calm blue water. White houses form a fine line along one distant shore, while larger hills make a soft horizon beyond them. A high bank of cloud fills much of the sky, leaving the view open and bright.
Muirneag offers a vantage over the island waters that define travel through Eilean Siar. The trig point gives the summit a human scale, and the small settlements show how closely life sits beside the coast. Anyone who has crossed these waters will recognise the pattern of low shores, open sea and hills beyond.
