Moray’s winding stream cuts through flowering heather, bringing a quiet sense of movement to this open moorland view beneath rounded hills in the last light..
The stream narrows as it bends towards low rounded hills, passing between purple heather and pale grasses. Beyond the moor, darker tree belts cross the slopes, while distant ridges fade into blue. Cream and lilac clouds stretch across the sky above the layered ground.
For anyone familiar with Moray’s open country, the stream offers a route through the heather. Its dark curve draws the eye from the foreground towards the hills, with flowering moor on both banks. Pale grasses form a narrow border beside the stream as it bends away.
