Beskrivning
Wooded slopes fold around Mallwyd in Gwynedd, with a pale road curving through the green Dyfi valley and low purple hills settling beneath the soft clouds of evening.
Mallwyd lies in the Dyfi valley in mid-Wales, east of Dolgellau. The village occupies an important road junction where the A470 passes through the hills. Its setting combines winding valley ground with woodland and the slopes that enclose this part of Gwynedd.
A light ribbon of road bends left between dark trees. Rounded hill shoulders gather behind the valley, their blue-purple shadows softened by a pale pink horizon. Green pasture cuts across the nearer slope, with low flowering shrubs along the bottom edge. Broad cream clouds hang above the wooded folds, leaving the landscape quiet and spacious.
