Beskrivning
Lurigethan on the Antrim coast rises above a curved golden beach, with white cottages, bright green fields and gentle blue waves under a cloud-filled summer sky in Northern Ireland.
Lurigethan forms a prominent backdrop to the coastal countryside around Cushendall and Waterfoot. At the foot of Glenariff, Waterfoot’s sandy beach extends for about a kilometre, backed by shallow dunes. Villages, farmland and steep upland edges meet along this stretch of County Antrim.
The flat-edged hill rises on the left above green fields divided by dark hedges. White cottages stand close to a pale beach that curves around blue water. Small breakers draw thin white lines across the shallows. Seaweed-covered stones fill the nearest corner, while strong summer light casts long shadows across the sand beneath large, bright clouds.
