Beskrivning
Kingshouse Hotel sits beneath a steep Highland peak, with a rocky stream in the foreground giving the view a rugged calm with the stream running over stones below.
White buildings stand low beneath the mountain’s broad face, set among open grass and scattered stones. A clear stream runs across the foreground between dark rocks, while patches of heather colour the banks. Clouds gather above the peak without hiding its ridges. Kingshouse Hotel is placed within a wide glen, where the water and mountain draw attention away from the small group of buildings.
Travellers passing through the Highlands may remember the hotel against the scale of the surrounding peaks. The stream in front and the rocky summit behind hold the view together.
