Beskrivning
Above Castlebay, Heaval rises behind the shoreline settlement, its broad green slopes overlooking the harbour, piers and open water in a clear view of Barra.
The mountain fills much of the scene, with sunlit patches across its green ridges. White and pale-roofed buildings line the waterfront, and several piers reach into the blue harbour. A vessel sits alongside the quay, while a smaller boat rests farther out. A pale cloud bank hangs above the summit, with blue sky beyond.
Heaval rises above Castlebay on Barra, giving the harbour settlement its mountain backdrop. This view brings the hillside, waterfront and sheltered water together, with the town set below the broad summit. The shoreline houses and piers make the scale of the mountain clear against the open water.
