Beskrivning
Hawthorn Hive’s pale cliffs stretch along a green headland, with the curve of the beach opening onto blue sea under a high bank of cream clouds.
Shallow pools catch the light across the exposed foreshore. Bands of warm grey and sand lead towards the wooded ridge, while the shore turns away at the far end of the bay. The broad setting holds land and water beneath a large expanse of sky.
Hawthorn Hive sits by the end of Hawthorn Dene, with the shore looking towards Chourdon Point. For anyone familiar with this part of the coast, the pale cliff line and wooded slope are distinctive features. The open sweep of sand and sea gives the view an unhurried character.
