Beskrivning
Glen Isla curves into the Angus uplands, with a bright meandering channel, pale gravel banks and sunlit pasture below a high blue sky filled with scattered white clouds.
This view shows Glen Isla at Tulchan in Angus, looking downstream along the River Isla. The river supplies the central line through the landscape, with broad, largely open slopes rising on either side. Small field posts at the near edge give a close sense of scale, while the repeated river bends lead towards the more distant meeting of hills.
The river turns across the foreground before narrowing into the distance. Pale stones trace its inside bends, contrasting with deeper green grass on the banks. Dark conifers gather below the right hillside, and the valley opens towards rounded upland ridges beneath scattered white clouds.
