Craig Bron-banog is marked by a rough stone cairn above flowering moorland, with a broad, windswept view across the hills Heather surrounds the stone pile.
A pile of angular grey stones fills the foreground, its uneven top set against open moor. Heather in purple and russet tones spreads around the rocks, with low grasses between the patches. A slender mast stands on a separate rise to the left. Beyond it, distant ridges fade into blue beneath bands of cloud.
The cairn gives Craig Bron-banog a clear point of focus without hiding the surrounding ground. The mast and far ridges help show the height and openness of the view. Those who walk here will recognise the contrast between the close jumble of stone and the long, rounded hills beyond the heather.
